This is a bowhunting only operation and BOWMEX Outfitters will do everything in our power to make your hunt a success and ensure that your entire experience will be remembered long after you're back home! So come and enjoy some of the best deer hunting anywhere in the country!! Remember we're talking about a 90% success rate on bowhunters harvesting free ranging whitetails. Yes that's right 90% ON KILLS WITH A BOW!!!!! and we're not talking about yearling bucks we're talking about deer ranging from 3 1/2 TO 7 1/2 yrs. old scoring between 115" --- 160''. You will not be dissapointed!!!!!!!! We ask our hunters to leave the young bucks with potential to walk and grow, but it is up to the hunter what they want to shoot. This is a place where all the clients smile all the time!!!!
One thing you will notice right off the bat, is how big this part of the world is. The whitetail habitat extends for as far as you can see, hundreds of square miles of open range in which they are free to roam. Any hunting that goes on around our area is rifle hunting, which makes our ranch a sanctuary of sorts for the bucks. We'll usually have one stand set-up for every 800 or so acres. Due to the fact that the only people on the ranch are the working cowboys, the deer are allowed to live and prosper in their natural habitat.
Another thing that makes this hunt in Old Mexico such an awesome place to hunt is that you never know what is going to walk out in front of you. On any given day you could see a huge whiteail buck, feral hog, javelina, coyote, bobcat, or even a mountain lion. In fact during the middle of the day, when we don't hunt whitetails, our hunters usually head out hunting hogs, javelina or calling coyotes and bobcats. This is fun!!! There are tons of big Javelina and honestly, there isn't much more fun than hunting these 50- pound tuskers! Extra tags are available and please feel free to ask about our javelina only hunts.
We are allowed to bait in Old Mexico and we do. We hunt out of stands with shoot-through netting or small tripod stands hidden in the brush next to game trails or senderos. Mexico is a very tough place, yet beautiful in it's own way. The country is covered with cactus and brush, such as guajillo, mesquite, black brush, cat claw, and the ever-present prickly pear. Our saying is, "Everything in Mexico has thorns or horns." This natural protein filled habitat is what produces those big dark horns we all love.
This hunt is perfect for a father/son/daughter hunt, there is always something to do and always deer to see. It's also the place that we feel has the highest odds for an archery hunter looking to take a Pope and Young (P&Y) class buck. Remember we're talking
90% success rates with a bow and on a low fenced ranch that's
unbelievable!!!!
