BOWMEX Outfitters provides what we think is probably the best chance at harvesting a true "free ranging" whitetail buck with Archery equipment anywhere. There are no high fences where we hunt. The deer have miles and miles of open range in which they are free to roam. We usually have around 1 stand set-up for every 800 acres. Due to the fact that the only people on the ranch are the working cowboys, the deer are allowed to live and prosper in their natural habitat. That is what makes Old Mexico such an awesome place to hunt. You never know what is going to walk out in front of you. On any given day you could see a huge whitetail buck, feral hog, javelina, coyote, bobcat., or even a mountain lion. Between myself and all the guides we have over 120 years of combined experience in bowhunting! We know where and what it takes to harvest a deer with a bow. We hunt out of stands with shoot-through netting or small tripod stands hidden in the brush next to game trails or senderos. Mexico is a very tough place, yet beautiful in its own way. The country is covered with cactus and brush, such as guajillo, mesquite, black brush, cat claw and the ever-present prickly pear. Our saying is, "Everything in Mexico has thorns or horns." This natural protein filled habitat is what produces those big dark horns we all love.
